Influencer Gift Camille, popularly known as Cute Gemini or Cutegeminme, has broken her silence after her ex, singer Lil Frosh, accused her of begging for a reunion and claiming he paid her millions to drop the case that wrecked his career.
In a video circulating on Sunday, August 30, 2026, she rejected the money story he has told in interviews.
“You never paid me ₦8 million. You only paid ₦600k for my hospital bill. It’s been six years, so move on,” she said.
She also took a swipe at his continued focus on her name.
“If you put the energy you use in calling my name into music, you would have made it in music.”
The clip comes after she announced she would finally speak. In a statement ahead of the video, she said she had stayed quiet while other people wrote her life for her.
“For years, I have watched people create stories about me, repeat things they heard, believe things they were told, and build an entire narrative around my life without ever hearing from me. I chose to remain quiet.”
She added:
“I have been quiet for too long. It is time to tell my side.”
She also wrote:
“I am not coming to fight anybody. I am not coming to insult anyone. I am simply coming to tell my story.”
The feud dates back to late 2020, when photos of Cute Gemini with a swollen and bruised face went viral. Her camp accused Lil Frosh, then signed to Davido Music Worldwide, of assault. Davido’s label later dropped him, saying it would not condone domestic violence. Lil Frosh has denied beating her to that extent. He has said he slapped her once after she allegedly disrespected his mother, and that the swelling was from an allergic reaction. She has repeatedly rejected the allergy story and said he hit her more than once.
A criminal case was filed in 2021. In March 2022, both sides said they had reconciled and the charges were withdrawn. Cute Gemini posted then that they were on good terms. Lil Frosh’s lawyers also confirmed the withdrawal.
The matter exploded again in January 2024. Lil Frosh leaked chats he said showed her asking to get back together after his career collapsed. He also told interviewers he paid her family about ₦8 million in damages and other costs so the case would end. “I paid them up to like 8 million,” he said in one interview, adding that nobody would listen to his side.
The video has split viewers. Some say six years should have been enough. Others say she has a right to answer claims that still follow her name. Lil Frosh had not posted a public reply to the new clip as of Sunday morning.
