Nollywood actress Mojisola Adebanjo has revealed the disturbing dark side of fame, disclosing how a fan sent her an explicit message about her breasts that left her so uncomfortable she immediately blocked him.
In her interview on the Conversations With Kenni podcast hosted by Kehinde Ajose, the talented star opened up about her popular nickname “Spiffy” and the unwanted attention that comes with wearing revealing outfits on screen.
Explaining the origin of her nickname, Mojisola said:
“I was social prefect in secondary school and I had some friends who would call me Spiffy because I always dressed well and neat. The meaning means ‘smart in appearance.’”
However, the conversation took a shocking turn when she recounted the craziest fan message she has ever received.
“I received a message about a movie where I wore revealing outfit and the fan came into my DM and started talking about my boobs. Said he’d like to feel the boobs. I felt very uncomfortable and had to block the person without replying them.”
Her candid confession highlights the harassment many female celebrities endure from fans who blur the line between on-screen characters and real-life boundaries.
