Nollywood actor Stan Nze has poured out his heart in an emotional reaction to Peter Obi’s latest interview on the With Chude podcast, where the former Anambra governor alleged that the current administration is deliberately frustrating his businesses and those of his associates.

In a powerful video that has gone viral, the talented actor admitted the clip left him deeply moved and broken, questioning why anyone aspiring to lead Nigeria must endure such treatment.

“This video really broke me. No one should be made to go through these things just because they want to lead and see Nigeria become better,” Stan Nze said.

The actor stressed that his support transcends tribal lines or personal comfort, declaring his desire for genuine national progress.

“I want to see a better Nigeria. The next president doesn’t have to be Peter Obi. I’m not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who will do the right things. One that carries Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward. So far, I haven’t seen any better candidate than Peter Obi in this election,” he added passionately.

Stan Nze highlighted how governance impacts every Nigerian regardless of ethnicity, using the example of flooding in Lagos to drive home his point that bad leadership affects everyone.

“When Lagos was flooding, it didn’t target any tribes—it touched everyone. The truth is that governance doesn’t affect only one tribe or region, it affects everyone. This is a call to end bad governance. Let us do this together. Please, get your PVCs,” the actor urged.

His endorsement comes amid heightened political tension as Peter Obi, now flying the flag of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), positions himself for the 2027 presidential race against incumbent President Bola Tinubu and others. Obi’s podcast revelations about alleged targeting have sparked fresh debates on political persecution and the cost of opposition in Nigeria.

The actor’s call for PVCs underscores a growing youth-driven push for accountability and better leadership ahead of the next general elections.
