Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, has dropped yet another emotional bombshell in the never-ending family feud, claiming his late son’s wife has completely blocked him from seeing his grandson Liam since the tragic death in 2023. In a fresh Channels TV interview that quickly went viral, the heartbroken grandfather accused the woman of carrying the baby “all about” while denying him any access.
Aloba spoke with raw pain as he addressed the ongoing custody and family tensions that have gripped the public since Mohbad’s passing.
“There’s nothing like that. Since when Mohbad died, the lady has been carrying the baby all about. I don’t have access to him.”
The veteran father reflected on how warmly he once welcomed his son’s partner.
“You know, I’m someone that loves my son. So when I love my son, automatically, I must love his friend, which is his girlfriend. He introduced her to me and told me this is my girl and she is pregnant for me, and it’s going to be acceptable by me as a good father. And I thought this is the right thing to do.”
He described the confusion surrounding the introduction ceremony between both families.
“Firstly, he told me he wanted to do the introduction. But suddenly, on the introduction day, unexpectedly, he called me and said that was where the introduction was happening. I was confused because I saw crowd and wasn’t sure if it was just a simple introduction for both families to meet.”
Aloba also revealed deeper cracks that appeared later in the relationship between Mohbad and his partner.
“Mohbad told me he had a feeling that his wife was cheating on him.”
