Nollywood actress Sunshine Rosman has stirred emotions online with an emotional video post on her instagram story. In the video, the actress could not hold back tears as she addressed the state of the nation.

She questioned why Nigerians are still silent in the face of mounting hardships.

“When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When will it finally be enough?”

Sunshine pointed to the economy being in shambles, poverty reaching its peak and infrastructure failing badly.

“The economy is in shambles, poverty is at its peak, infrastructure is failing.”

She added that the situation is made worse by constant insecurity and killings.

“Innocent people and Christians in the north are facing constant insecurity and killings. Lives are being lost over nothing.”

The actress noted that many people have been forced to leave their homes because they know the government would do nothing to protect them.

“Lifes are being lost over nothing that people have to migrate from their homes because they know that nothing will be done.”

She concluded with a statement aimed to undo the desensitization Nigerians are experiencing.

“I swear this is not normal.”

Her post comes amid fresh reports of violence in the north. On Sunday, terrorists attacked two Christian worship centres in Kaduna State, killing at least seven people. No fewer than 28 others were confirmed dead in a separate banditry attack in Jos North on Palm Sunday.

Her heartfelt message has sparked widespread discussions about economic hardship, infrastructure decay, and insecurity, drawing reactions online, with many Nigerians echoing her call for the country to wake up.

Sunshine’s message joins the voices reigniting calls for Nigerian citizens to demand better governance and accountability from the ruling class.
