Actor Yhemolee has threatened music artiste Lil Frosh with a defamation lawsuit for accusing him of bullying and harassment.

Lil Frosh had cried out in an Instagram post on Tuesday, saying that Yhemolee should be held responsible if anything happens to him.

He accused Yhemolee of assault with a video of his bruised fingers as evidence.

Lil Frosh claimed the Gangs of Lagos actor has been threatening and bullying him because he has been giving the actor a silent treatment.

He wrote: “If anything bad happens to me Sanni Goriola Wasiu ‘Lil Frosh’ hold Yhemolee responsible for it. He has been threatening me.”

Captioning the video of his injured fingers, Lil Frosh wrote: “Just because I no dey greet you or I dey give you the silent treatment, Haba na problem to keep mute? I no wan greet you and follow you talk bro, na crime?”

Responding to the allegations in a statement via Instagram on Wednesday, Yhemolee, through his lawyers, demanded an apology, a retraction and 200 million naira as compensation for Frosh’s “defamatory publications.”

“It is the brief of our Client that the fictional assertions and destructive innuendos propagated by you in your well-publicized posts and video(s) on Instagram, are mendacious and uncharitable.

Our Client is convinced that your publications are actuated by your malicious propensity and attention seeking determination to bastardize his brand as an entertainer and an influencer of repute and ruin his business acumen, personal reputation, and ultimately subject him to the debilitating effects of ‘Cancel Culture’ as a result of your defamatory publications,” the suit read in parts.

The movie star also alleged that he has been receiving death threats since the “false accusation.”

“The past few days has been a whole lot as have been falsely accused continuously by @lhilfroshgram which has led me to get multiple death threats from random people, my timeline has been a mess for over 72hrs for something I’m clearly innocent of.

“This is a pre-action notice to @lhilfroshgram Attached letter from my lawyer is for your attention,” he wrote.
