Naira Marley removes Mohbad’s picture as Instagram display photo

Music artiste Naira Marley has removed a picture of his former signee the late Mohbad as his Instagram display photo.

A quick check on Naira Marley’s Instagram account on Wednesday revealed that the Marlian boss has replaced Mohbad’s photo with his own.

This comes after Naira a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, granted Naira Marley and socialite Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry bail in the sum of 20 million naira.

Naira Marley and Sam Larry were granted bail on Monday, November 6 with three responsible duties.

The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun told the defendants to submit their passports and ordered that they are to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.

Mohbad died at the age of 27 under unclear circumstances on Thursday, September 12.

A coroner’s inquest into his death has been launched by the Lagos State Government.

During the inquest on October 26, Mohbas’s father Joseph Aloba claimed the singer stopped going to shows for six months because of fear of the constant beating, harassment and bullying he got from Naira Marley and his ally, Sammy Larry.

The man and his wife also claimed Mohbad told them that he was being attacked because he said he did not want Naira Marley’s brother, Tunde Fashola, to be his manager anymore.

“Mohbad was scared of going out for six months. He said he did not know if the substance he drank at the NDLEA will appear at the airport,” Mohbad’s dad said.

He also testified that his son left his house at the age of consent and began to assist Naira Marley while embarking on his own career in music.
