Video from Olu Jacobs’ 81st birthday party stirs emotions
A video from the birthday celebration of veteran actor Olu Jacobs has stirred emotions on social media.
The actor clocked 81 on Tuesday, July 11 and his family organised a party to celebrate him.
A video shared by blogger Cutie Jullss via Instagram on Thursday captures the actor’s wife Joke Silva dancing and leading her husband, who is battling with dementia, to his seat.
The video got many social media users emotional. They hailed the actor’s wife for being a pillar of support to him.
“Marry a good wife….treat her well and she would stick with you in your trying times,” a social media user @haleerma wrote.
Another user @mattetouch encouraged men to learn from Olu Jacobs. She wrote, “Men should better learn from our old legend, take good care of your wife, love and respect her and in return she will take care of you and love you till death do you part.”
Joke recently opened up on the marital struggles with her husband.
In an interview with media personality Nancy Isime, the movie star said the illness has affected their marriage.
Joke described Olu as an incredible father and an amazing husband who did not fail in his responsibilities.
