Popular Nigerian radio personality Tolu Oniru, better known as Toolz, has clapped back powerfully at her critics as she celebrates a milestone 10 years of marriage to her husband, Captain Tunde Demuren.
The celebrated on-air personality took to Instagram to shade those who once mocked her for being unmarried in her 40s, turning the tables in spectacular fashion while marking her decade-long union.
“From ‘she’s in her 40s and unmarried’ last year to celebrating 10 years of marriage this year – my God of miracles!!!”
She expressed deep gratitude to everyone who made their anniversary photoshoot possible despite tight schedules.
Toolz shared a beautiful video collage from their wedding day and a fresh family photoshoot featuring their two sons. She described the past decade as one filled with “love, laughter, lessons, growth, and choosing each other through every season.”
The mother of two admitted marriage isn’t always perfect but affirmed: it has been theirs, and for that she remains profoundly grateful. She also revealed that her husband surprised her with a special getaway trip to mark the occasion.
Toolz and Tunde Demuren tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Dubai in June 2016. Their love story has since produced two adorable boys — their first son arriving in December 2018 and the second in 2020.
