Nollywood actor Tioruju Mondusi has opened up about the devastating betrayal he experienced from the mother of his five children, revealing a shocking paternity revelation that left him questioning years of support and love. In an emotional episode of African A-List, the actor recounted how the woman got pregnant and gave birth without informing him.
“The person that offended me the most is the mother of my children. She got pregnant, gave birth, and didn’t tell me.”
Mondusi described returning from a trip to find her pregnant again and confronting her about her whereabouts. When she gave evasive answers, he became angry and said hurtful things. The situation escalated when he visited her mother’s house and saw a photo of her with another man in a romantic pose. Before he could question it, the photo was quickly removed.
“I went to her mother’s house and on getting there, I saw her picture with another man being lovey dovey in the sitting room. Before I could question it, her mother quickly removed it from the room not knowing I’d already seen it.”
Later, when she returned home pregnant, he questioned her, and that was when she dropped the bombshell.
“When I asked about it, she asked me ‘who said it’s yours?’”
Mondusi then asked her which of his children were biologically his.
“She said I am the father of my 1st, second and fourth child but not the father of the 3rd and 5th child.”
The actor noted that he had financially supported all the children, paid their expenses, and even named them.
“Bear in mind that I was the one that paid for all the children expenses and named them all.”
The raw confession has drawn widespread sympathy and calls for DNA tests, highlighting issues of trust, paternity fraud, and emotional abuse in relationships.
