Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has dramatically accepted a boxing match challenge from her longtime rival, Iyabo Ojo, escalating their over-two-year-old public feud into a potential physical showdown.
Iyabo Ojo recently threw the gauntlet by sharing a video of herself training and calling on billionaires E-Money and Soso Soberekon to sponsor the fight. Lizzy wasted no time responding with a fiery acceptance filled with heavy insults.
“Paulo Sisi Mama Ambassador Baby Oil, I challenge you and Iyabo Ojo Sepeteri the certified failed actress with zero achievements to pick a date for the fight.”
She added that the ring fight would give her the justice she seeks:
“IT’S THAT RING FIGHT THAT CAN GIVE ME THE REAL JUSTICE I AM LOOKING FOR. THAT’S WHY I DIDN’T DRAG YOU TO COURT THAT TIME BUT I’M READY ANYWAY NOW.”
Lizzy further demanded that Iyabo’s partner, Paulo, and her own husband, Chief Lawal, fight 10 rounds non-stop before their own bout. She took vicious swipes at both Iyabo and Paulo, questioning their achievements and financial status while boasting about her own lifestyle.
The bitter rivalry between the two actresses has raged for years. It intensified after Iyabo mocked Lizzy in a video, prompting Lizzy to accuse her of promiscuity. Iyabo responded with threats of legal action and filed a N1 billion defamation suit, which a Lagos court dismissed in 2024.
Lizzy’s latest outburst shows no signs of reconciliation, as she ends her statement with strong personal attacks on Iyabo’s character and relationship.
