Iyabo Ojo is not playing around. The Nollywood star just dropped a no-nonsense response on her Instagram story after Baba Ijesha opened up about their past on Biola Adebayo’s Talk To B podcast, where he claimed he once looked after her children and protected her career.
She started by making one thing crystal clear: she has zero issue with him telling his own side of the story. But the moment he brought her kids into it? That crossed the line.
“Take this as a notice to CEASE AND DESIST from using my children as your cheap bait. It won’t fly.”
She explained that her kids have always had nannies or her late mum around them at all times.
Iyabo made it plain that Baba Ijesha was nothing more than a senior colleague to her, no special mentorship or deep ties like he suggested.
“You were a senior colleague no more to it.”
Then she went straight for the real issue still hanging over his head. She reminded everyone that the case involved a 14-year-old minor and that sexual assault is never okay.
“The court found you guilty based on evidence, so please don’t drag my kids into this.”
She told him to show some remorse instead of trying to rewrite history.
Iyabo didn’t mince words on what happens next if he keeps mentioning her children:
“Stop mentioning their names else I would direct my counsel to serve you appropriate papers.”
