K1 de Ultimate dismisses fresh rumour of trouble in marriage to Emmanuella Ropo

Fuji musician K1 de Ultimate has once again denied rumours that his marriage to Emmanuella Ropo is in trouble.

The story arose after K1 rejected a kiss from his wife during Emmanuella’s surprise birthday celebration on March 3, 2023, at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos.

Although the couple in a statement signed by Kunle Rasheed said the rumour of trouble in the singer’s marriage was fabricated by haters, many continued to speculate that the duo are still having marital problems.

However, on Thursday, K1 shared photos of the couple on their wedding day on Instagram to dismiss the claim.

The 66-year-old said his wedding day, which he described as “a glorious day” will not be forgotten in 100 years. He said the rumour is the “work of lazy-minded people gathering unfounded stories to trend.”

“A glorious day like this day in the history of Ijebuland, can never be forgotten 100 years from today. For some lazy-minded people, gathering unfounded stories just to trend like what you doing is God-given talent.

“Hmmmm emurasi Iye leewo eele reiye mu.

“Ibaje eniyan kodase Olorun duro. Itesi Oroki, Omo olukojiya, Ara ijamo Omo Epo N pon roro Aja N ro dede. Be buwa-buwa kole dunwa, ipati e un poose laasan, eebu tee buwa yeye yin oo.

“Alayonuso emu kokoro etiilekun ete sobolo. Ajike, je konma aa buwa eebu oo sooo,” he wrote in English and Yoruba.

Also known as KWAM 1, the singer tied the knot with Emmanuella at a ceremony in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
