Social media activist VeryDarkMan has alleged that singer Zlatan Ibile is privately seeking to end their feud, claiming the rapper sent three celebrities to plead with him and that Zlatan’s parents joined one of the calls.
Speaking in a video that began circulating on Saturday, November 7, 2026, VDM dismissed the singer’s public posture.
“Zlatan makes me laugh. That’s just the truth. I see him as a joke. To me, he’s a clown,” he said.
He went further on the private outreach.
“Zlatan has sent three celebrities to me. As a matter of fact, his parents were on the call, telling one of them to come and beg me because their son no fit jọ̀bẹ̀. Their son is not feeling well, that this whole thing is messing him up.”
VDM challenged the singer to call the account a lie, warning that he would then name the celebrities involved.
The activist tied the friction to the years-old controversy surrounding the death of late singer Mohbad. He accused Zlatan of staying silent when the case dominated public attention because his career was at risk, while still promoting songs he had recorded with Mohbad such as Buga and Ikan Balance. An intermediary, VDM said, told him the rapper feared the backlash.
“There’s something disturbing him. That’s why he’s sending people to come and beg,” VDM claimed.
At the same time, he praised Zlatan’s work.
“Zlatan is a great artist. His songs are great. I love his songs.”
He insisted he would continue pressing for answers in the Mohbad case and that his goal was the truth, not unfair targeting.
The claims arrive amid a renewed public clash. Zlatan’s track INFERNO, featuring Peruzzi and Shoday, contained a line widely read as a jab at VDM (“I am not Vincent, I can’t masturbate”), after which VDM mocked the rapper’s recent traditional wedding and album promotion. Zlatan later posted a cryptic message about tasting one’s own medicine; VDM fired back. Their tension traces to the aftermath of Mohbad’s death in 2023, when VDM repeatedly urged Zlatan to speak about what he knew.
