BBNaija Season 7 winner Phyna has gone on a full offensive against activist VeryDarkMan after he reportedly called her a crackhead, bringing his mother into the fight while also distancing herself from a Nigerian audience on Twitch.
The latest clash began during a Wednesday, October 26, 2026 Instagram live with King Mitchy. The conversation turned to claims that Burna Boy has not paid VDM for a school project. While the stream was running, Phyna saw a comment attributed to VDM on a blogger’s post in which he allegedly labelled her a crackhead. She responded the next day in another live.
She first pushed back on the drug claim.
“I smoke just weed. I don’t do crack,” she said.
She then turned to his family.
“But your mother is a thief. Your mother is a freaking thief, bro. Your mother literally go. She went to the bank to steal, bro. Whose mother is a thief? I mean, thank God my mother is not a thief, and I’m not selling my noodles for money.”
The comments spread quickly and split reactions online. Some backed her right to answer when her name was mentioned. Others argued that dragging a parent crossed a line, with one user writing that no matter the banter, parents should stay out of it.
In the same stretch of livestreaming, Phyna also spoke about her streaming goals. She said she does not want a Nigerian audience on her Twitch and prefers not to post when she goes live except for collaborations.
“I don’t want the Nigerian audience. I’m already getting the audience I want little by little. I have two American people that are always watching me and it satisfies me a lot. I’m not interested in the messy and toxic Nigerian audience.”
She contrasted herself with fellow streamer Carter Efe.
“I’m not hungry like Carterefe, who is always doing foolish stuff to trend and get 5K viewers who are wheelbarrow pushers.”
She warned her own fans as well:
“Phynation people in my chats, if I see y’all’s silly comments again, I’m going to block you. Know this and know peace. There’s no monopoly to madness.”
This is not the first public falling-out between Phyna and VDM. Earlier in 2026 she accused him of making sexual advances she rejected and of twisting the facts around the case involving her late sister. He has previously denied some of her claims and said his earlier support for her came without conditions.
