Nollywood actress and Abia State African Action Congress governorship candidate Doris Ogala has made explosive new claims linking popular pastors Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman to her recent remand in Ikoyi Prison. The actress, who faces charges in an ongoing legal battle with Pastor Chris Okafor, took to Instagram hours after the court ruling to allege a coordinated effort against her.

A Lagos State High Court ordered Ogala’s remand on October 28, 2026, following her arraignment on four counts that include harassment and cyberbullying, unauthorised publication of personal materials, attempted extortion, and spreading false information. The case stems from her dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.

From custody, Ogala named Jerry Eze, Apostle Johnson Suleman, Chris Okafor and Abia State Governor Alex Otti in a series of posts. She claimed the men were working against her because of sensitive information she allegedly holds about them.

“You guys are afraid of me. That’s why you want me gone. All of us will die one day. I’m not afraid to die. There’s plot to eliminate me in prison,” she wrote.

Ogala further suggested her political ambition was the real target.

“They want to stop my campaign as governor of Abia State. God will fight this battle,” she stated.

In another post she accused aides of the pastors of previously approaching her.

“Jerry’s PA begged for it. Suleman boy begged me to put it up to cover their [expletive]. I know a lot and I’m not afraid of any of them.”

She ended with a direct warning to the public.

“If anything happens to me, hold them responsible. They begged me to apologize to them to cover their [expletive]. Today is Doris tomorrow it may be you. Let’s fight against weaponization of law between boyfriend and girlfriend issue.”

At the time of reporting, neither Jerry Eze, Johnson Suleman nor Governor Alex Otti had publicly responded to the allegations. The claims remain unproven and form part of Ogala’s public statements from prison. Her earlier public disputes with some of the named figures, including previous threats to release information, provide limited background to the current flare-up but do not confirm the latest accusations.
