Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, have fixed October 24, 2026, for their wedding celebrations, and they let one of their sons make the announcement.
The couple posted a short “Save the Date” video on Instagram on Thursday night, October 8, with the caption “24 October 2026.” In the clip, Zlatan and Davita hold each other while their eldest son, Shiloh, speaks over the footage.
“When I think about love, I think about my mummy and daddy. They have shown me that family means laughing together, supporting each other and always feeling loved. My little brother and I are part of their love story and I thank God for our family. Save the date for my mummy and daddy’s wedding. The 24th of October, 2026,” he says.
Zlatan, born Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, and Davita have been together for several years. Their first son, Toluwalase Shiloh Ainoghena Omoniyi, was born in 2020. Davita and Shiloh first lived in London before moving to Nigeria to join him. Their second son, Benaiah, arrived in 2024.
The date lands months after reports that the pair had already held a private civil ceremony. In July, while travelling to the wedding of businessman and music executive Soso Soberekon, they told friends and colleagues on the trip that a celebration was coming and that they wanted them there.
Fans and industry peers flooded the post with congratulations as soon as it went up.
