Nollywood veteran Rita Edochie has turned her attention back to women she says go after other women’s husbands, warning that they will only regain their senses when they stop and submit to God.
In a social media post published on Monday, October 5, 2026, the actress said God made every woman uniquely and beautifully, and that she still cannot understand why some women refuse to use what they have to build a home of their own.
“Learn morals and forget hate. God was lenient enough to create every woman uniquely and beautifully. There’s no woman who doesn’t have an inner chamber both in front and behind. Every woman has sufficient milk bank too.”
She then aimed the rest of the message at women she placed in that category.
“The reason some women can’t use those features to secure a good man for themselves but would rather go after another woman’s husband is still unknown to me, I swear. If you are reading this post of mine and you are currently in this category, ara ga agba gi!! Serious madness o. You can only regain your sanity when you decide to stop and surrender to the ways and teachings of God Almighty.”
The line “ara ga agba gi” is Igbo for madness catching a person. Rita did not name anyone in the post. Even so, the timing sits inside a fight that has already moved from Instagram to a courtroom. Judy Austin, wife of Rita’s nephew Yul Edochie, has sued her for ₦1 billion over posts Judy says defamed her. The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja heard the matter on September 29 and adjourned it to November 24. Outside court, Rita told journalists she talks about morals, not one woman, and asked why Judy would sue if the description did not fit.
This is not a new theme for her. In July she told women to check the quality of any husband they planned to snatch, and she has repeatedly framed second wives and side partners as people who will meet the pain they cause. Those earlier posts drew the same split reaction: praise from fans who say she is defending May Edochie, and anger from readers who say she is washing family linen in public.
