Comedian Klinton Cod, also known as Kliton Cod, has told men who want children to stop waiting for a perfect partner, warning that the search could leave them with no kids at all. His comments have set off a fresh argument about love, timing, and fatherhood.
He was reacting to a video by BBNaija star White Money, who complained that he is struggling to find a single woman to start a family with. White Money said many of the women he meets are already single mothers with several children and more than one baby daddy.
Klinton did not sugarcoat his reply.
“If you are waiting for the right woman in 2026 before having kids assuming you want kids, you may be childless I assure you. The best thing I did with my life was making babies when I was naive at young age. It became the best decision of my entire life with what i see today.”
He later tried to draw a line.
“Let me clarify something on this post, I am not saying make babies with a crackhead, what I mean is, there are women that clearly may not be the right fit to be your lover or soulmate but you know deep down they will be great mothers to kids, those are the ones you can pair up with for procreation assuming they are down for it.”
The post quickly spread. Some users called it real talk for men who fear running out of time. Others said a comedian should not be writing family policy, and that the idea treats women as baby-making partners instead of partners.
Klinton framed his own early fatherhood as luck mixed with youth. He said having children when he was still naive later became the best decision of his life. He did not present it as a rule for every man, but as a warning that the “right woman” may never arrive on the timetable men imagine.
