Fresh drama has erupted around music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his estranged wife, Natasha Osawaru, after a reported confrontation at a high-profile event in Abuja on Friday night.
According to multiple reports, the incident took place at the grand opening of Faze’s 90s Lounge, where 2Baba was scheduled to perform. Natasha allegedly arrived unannounced with a large entourage and caused a scene outside the venue.
A senior member of 2Baba’s management team told Daily Post that a clash occurred and alleged that Natasha and some of the men with her attempted to abduct the singer. The source claimed she arrived with security personnel and others described as thugs, leading to a heated confrontation involving 2Baba and his team. The same source stated that the couple had already been separated for more than two months.
Social media accounts circulating the story claimed Natasha was screaming “I’m your wife!” and “My husband 2Baba is here” as she tried to force her way to the artiste. One report stated that 2Baba’s manager called the police for assistance before the singer eventually spoke with her privately and reiterated that he wanted the relationship to end. After the performance, attempts by Natasha to leave with him were allegedly blocked by his team.
