The eldest Okoye brother, Henry Okoye, has broken his silence on the bitter family feud tearing through the Okoye household. In a candid interview conducted at the family residence in Plateau State, Henry delivered some of the strongest comments yet against Jude Okoye while expressing deep pessimism about any lasting peace between twins Peter and Paul Okoye.

Henry did not hold back when describing his younger brother.

“Jude is my brother, but he is a very bad person. He is very wicked,” he stated.

He alleged that Jude only became involved with P-Square after the group had already begun making progress, insisting that the family, including himself, provided the early support.

“When they started this music, they were looking for sponsors. They didn’t get a sponsor. When I started sponsoring them, Jude was not there. We would travel from state to state for music. They used my car for flyers. I did bodyguard with them,” Henry recalled.

He claimed their late mother initially opposed Jude managing the twins because she knew his character.

Henry further accused Jude of blocking a promised 20 per cent share from the group’s music.

“They promised me 20% for each music. Nobody have given me. After two, three, four years, I asked them but Jude was against it despite putting money into their career, growth and development,” he said.

On the strained relationship between the twins, Henry painted a picture of irreversible damage.

“I will be happy for them to come back together but I don’t think it will happen,” he declared.

He expressed shock at the change in Paul, once considered the nicest among the siblings.

“Paul was a very kind person. Peter is trying. I don’t know if Jude used juju on Paul because he was the nicest person in the family before. But the way he changed is surprising. What is happening now is my prayer. I watched all Peter’s series on what transpired.”

Henry also spoke of personal neglect within the family. He said that while Peter and Paul used to check on him, Jude never called during the two months he spent in hospital. He alleged that their youngest sister is currently struggling in Lagos without adequate support from Jude and Paul, adding that Peter has been the one making efforts.

Despite the harsh words, Henry said he has forgiven his siblings and still wishes for the entire family to reunite. He noted that even external figures such as Shehu Dantata had tried to intervene without success. The prolonged crisis, which first split P-Square in 2017, saw a brief reunion in 2021 before fresh disagreements erupted again, has clearly left deep scars.

Henry’s comments come shortly after Peter Okoye’s multi-part tell-all series that levelled serious accusations against Jude and, by extension, Paul.

While Jude has previously denied many of the financial claims and pointed to ongoing court processes, Henry’s intervention adds another family voice to the public dispute.
