Nana Otedola, mother of actress and model Temi Otedola, has emotionally opened up about her initial worries when her daughter announced her pregnancy with husband Mr Eazi, admitting she feared history would repeat itself.

In a heartfelt conversation shared on social media, Nana expressed her concerns rooted in personal experience.

“When you got pregnant, I was scared because Tosin works in the entertainment industry and travels a lot. I spent most of my parenting years raising my children on my own, and I didn’t want my daughter to go through the same thing. I was worried she’d be left at home alone with the baby.”

Her fears stemmed from raising her own children largely single-handedly while her husband, billionaire Femi Otedola, focused on building his empire. During Temi’s lavish wedding last year, Femi publicly praised Nana for her sacrifices and endurance.

Nana also admitted shock at how quickly the couple conceived.

“I was shocked you guys were having a baby so soon. I thought you’d spend about three years enjoying the honeymoon phase.”

Temi responded that they had already been together for five years and had done all the honeymoon activities.

Temi and Mr Eazi announced their pregnancy earlier in 2026 after discovering it during their honeymoon in Japan and South Korea. The couple has since shared sweet moments, including family reactions and preparations involving consultations with multiple doctors across countries.

Despite her initial fears, Nana’s love and support for her daughter remain evident as the family prepares to welcome their first grandchild. Temi has described her pregnancy journey as transformative, noting the first trimester challenges with fatigue and morning sickness before gaining strength.

The touching revelation has warmed hearts online, highlighting generational mother-daughter bonds, parental concerns, and the realities of marriage in the spotlight.
