Nollywood actress Sotayo Gaga has unleashed a fiery rant and spiritual curses on individuals who allegedly scammed her under false pretences, warning them of severe consequences.
In a passionate video that has gone viral, the actress expressed deep frustration over repeated betrayal by people who took advantage of her generosity. She revealed that she often sells items to raise money specifically to help others in need.
“A lot of times, I sell one or two things and use the money to help people do things when they need it because I know they need it.”
Sotayo Gaga then directly addressed two specific scammers. One reportedly scammed her after contacting her on WhatsApp pretending to be an actor needing money for his child’s school fees, while another scammed her by claimed their home was falling apart.
She did not hold back in her statement to the scammers:
“By the authority of God, whatever you gather in life will suddenly become naught before your eyes. As long as you interact with water, all the fluids in your body shall dry up. You will be carried around in search of help.”
The actress ended with a strong warning to potential scammers:
“Let people that need genuine help, receive help. Don’t come near me again!”
Sotayo Gaga’s experience saw fans expressing shock at the intensity of her curses. It also highlights the growing issue of online scams targeting generous individuals in the entertainment industry and Nigeria at large.
