“Ilebaye Introduced Her Brother to Drugs!” — Father Alleges

Hon. Emmanuel Godson Odiniya, father of Big Brother Naija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya, has released an emotional voice note addressing the ongoing family crisis that led to a violent confrontation and hospitalisation of several family members. In the widely circulated audio, the distraught father detailed his side of the strained relationship with his daughter.

Speaking emotionally, Hon. Odiniya claimed that since Ilebaye left the Big Brother house, she allegedly distanced herself from him and never disclosed how much she earned from the show, despite his past struggles to support her. He further alleged that the reality star introduced her 14-year-old younger brother to drugs, which he said eventually led to the boy being expelled from school.

According to him, he repeatedly warned Ilebaye against giving the teenager “anything they call drug,” but she allegedly ignored his pleas. He also accused Ilebaye and her mother of working together against him and frustrating his efforts as a father.

Odiniya opened up about his troubled marriage, revealing that Ilebaye once advised him to divorce her mother during one of their family disputes. He said he later divorced his wife in court, only for Ilebaye to question why he made the decision without informing her. The father also alleged that his ex-wife repeatedly abandoned the family for months at different times.

He ended his emotional statement by pleading with Nigerians to forgive his family and keep them in prayers, expressing hope that Ilebaye would eventually change for good.

This latest development comes after the May 9, 2026 incident at Royal Anchor Estate in Wuye, Abuja, where Ilebaye was rescued following a livestream in which she cried out for help with visible injuries.
