BBNaija Angel’s ex wife, Tumininu went public with explosive claims about her failed marriage to Angel, detailing what she described as deception, emotional distance, and a rushed wedding that quickly fell apart. The revelations, shared during a TikTok live session, have triggered intense reactions across social media. Recounting how the relationship evolved, Tumininu said she met Angel in 2022 and they reconnected after a breakup with another partner.
According to her, things escalated quickly, especially after discussions about relocating Angel to the United States.
“I told her I wasn’t good with long distance… so I was going to try bring her into the US and we started processing her visa.”
However, she claimed concerns began to surface as Angel’s behavior started to change. Tumininu alleged that she became uneasy over Angel’s social outings and secrecy.
“When I saw her overexcitement about going out, I asked to see who she was going with and she sent me a picture of the person that looked like a girly girl so I left it alone. Then, I noticed she started locking her room door—started withdrawing. We initially thought it was the online pressure getting to her so I started putting in effort and she kept withdrawing.”
Despite her doubts, Tumininu said external pressure pushed the relationship toward marriage.
“She had posted the final wedding invitation and said it’d be embarrassing to cancel again so I said we should just do reception.”
According to her, Angel’s mother played a role in persuading her to proceed.
“Her mom begged me… she said she would change after the wedding.”
In one of the most striking revelations, Tumininu claimed the relationship had already broken down by the time of the ceremony.
“On the wedding day we weren’t on talking terms but we had to keep up appearances.”
She added that the situation deteriorated rapidly after the wedding.
“Eleven days after the wedding, she didn’t change. I lashed out thinking she’d give it more thought but she moved out.”
Tumininu said attempts to salvage the marriage failed after Angel declined therapy.
“I told her mom who recommended therapy for us. I waited for my insurance and when they were ready, Angel declined therapy”
That decision, according to her, marked the final breaking point.
“I went to court to get divorce papers. I texted her mom again that I wasn’t giving it any further chances.”
While Tumininu’s account has gained traction, it remains her version of events. Angel has not publicly responded to the claims at the time of reporting.
