Popular businessman BLord has claimed he signed social media personality Verydarkman to a ₦500 million ambassadorial deal for his app.
The revelation was made during a livestream at his residence in Anambra, where he addressed comedian and singer Carter Efe.
BLord insisted that Verydarkman’s promotional activities for his platform were not done for free, stressing that he paid heavily for the partnership.
“I signed VeryDarkMan N500M for my app. You think say na free? Why you think say him dey advertise for me just like that? Na my ambassador, na me be the first person wey sign am,” he said during the broadcast.
The claim has raised eyebrows online, especially given the long-standing tensions between the two public figures.
Their most recent disagreement centred around BLord’s alleged use of the “Ratel” name widely associated with Verydarkman, for his app.
Despite the bold announcement, Verydarkman has not publicly confirmed or denied the alleged ₦500 million deal as of the time of filing this report.
The development has since sparked conversations across social media, with many users questioning the details of the partnership and waiting for an official response.
