Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has weighed in on the ongoing conversation surrounding actress Rosy Meurer, offering candid advice following her recent emotional response to public scrutiny over her husband’s reunion with his ex-wife.
Reacting to Rosy’s viral videos, Do2dtun said the timing and purpose of her public statements did not add value to the situation, stressing that sometimes silence is the wiser response.
“If we were close to you, I would have told you not to do this video. The timing, the depth of the message, the purpose, and what you were intending to achieve have no bearing on the whole situation,” he said.
He added that, if placed in her position, he would take a more embracing and peaceful approach, especially regarding her husband’s child from his previous marriage.
“If I were in your shoes, I’d be happy for my husband; take the child as my own, and that’s where it ends. This is the only way to win in this situation.”
Do2dtun also emphasised that while speaking one’s truth is important, timing plays a crucial role in how that truth is received.
“Speaking your truth is absolutely necessary, but speaking your truth when it is necessary is important.”
The conversation follows Rosy’s strong defence of her marriage to businessman Olakunle Churchill, after public attention intensified over his renewed public interaction with ex-wife Tonto Dikeh during their son’s birthday celebration.
Rosy had earlier insisted she fully supports the reunion for the sake of the child and is tired of “false narratives” surrounding her marriage. She also maintained that she never unfollowed her husband and remains secure in her relationship.
