Tonto Dikeh Shares Emotional Reconciliation Testimony

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared an emotional testimony about her past struggles with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, revealing how years of pain recently gave way to peace and reconciliation.

The actress, who surprised many days ago after publicly extending an olive branch to Churchill, spoke during a testimony at Pastor Jerry Eze’s church, where she reflected on what she described as a long season of emotional hardship.

“I went through ten years of war, loneliness and shame, and my son not knowing his father, but God restored it in just one day,” she said.

Tonto previously revealed that after years of public disputes, broken communication, bitterness, and emotional wounds, she and Churchill finally chose peace. According to her, faith played a major role in their reconciliation.

She described her past experience as chaotic and overwhelming.

Tonto likened the period to a tornado, explaining that the emotional storm affected not just her, but also her son, King Andre.

She added that the turning point came during the 21-day prayer and fasting programme led by Pastor Jerry Eze, saying her son’s prayer request was answered in an unexpected way.

Following the reconciliation, Olakunle Churchill also shared his side of the emotional moment. He revealed that he was deeply moved when he received a phone call from his son for the first time. According to him, hearing King Andre call him “Daddy” was a life-changing moment.

Churchill described it as proof of divine intervention, saying it reminded him that “what God cannot do does not exist.” He also expressed appreciation to Tonto, praising her as a dedicated mother for raising their son.

The reconciliation marks a major shift in what had been one of the most talked-about celebrity disputes in Nollywood. Fans have since reacted with mixed emotions, with many expressing hope that the renewed peace will positively impact their son.

For Tonto Dikeh, the testimony was not just about reunion, but about healing after what she called a decade of pain.
