Blessing CEO Celebrates as IVD Is Acquitted in Wife’s Death Case After 4 Years

Popular relationship therapist Blessing CEO has publicly celebrated her partner, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, widely known as IVD, following his discharge and acquittal in the long-running case surrounding the death of his late wife, Bimbo.

Taking to her Instagram page, Blessing revealed that the court decision was reached on December 15, 2025, marking what she described as the end of four painful years filled with tears, pressure, and false narratives.

Expressing visible relief and gratitude, Blessing said the ruling restored her faith in the country’s judicial process.

“Discharged and acquitted… 15th December 2025… It ended in praise. 4 years of tears and false narratives. Nigeria’s justice system still works. I am proud of my country.”

She congratulated IVD warmly, telling him it was time to reclaim his life.

“IVD, you can now have your life back. Congratulations…”

Beyond celebration, Blessing used the moment to send a strong message about toxic marriages and relationships, urging people to leave unhealthy situations early.

“If marriage or relationship no dey work, pls run ooooooo, run oooooo. Don’t wait for anybody to pass. Run.”

Following the ruling, IVD reportedly expressed gratitude to Blessing CEO for standing by him through what he described as the darkest period of his life, helping him “pick up the pieces” amid public scrutiny and legal battles.

Recall that in August, IVD was arrested at the airport while attempting to travel to Qatar, an incident linked to the ongoing domestic violence case involving his late wife, Bimbo. Reports at the time claimed he was restricted from leaving Nigeria until the matter was resolved.

Reacting strongly to the arrest, Blessing CEO denied that there was any travel ban on him and accused certain individuals of harassment and intimidation.

In a follow-up post, Blessing warned that sustained pressure might force her to “drop her new character,” insisting that IVD was innocent and unfairly targeted.

Blessing CEO and IVD first sparked dating rumours in 2023 after she shared a photo of a mystery man with a tattoo of her face on his arm. At the time, she admitted she was both scared and excited, saying she believed her ability to love had died until he came into her life.

In January, during an interview with Daddy Freeze, Blessing confirmed their relationship, describing IVD as loving and supportive, and openly expressing hope for marriage. By April, she announced their engagement, noting that this phase of her life was different.

With the court’s decision now public, Blessing CEO describes the moment as closure after years of emotional strain, while supporters say it marks a turning point for IVD to rebuild his life away from controversy.
