The marriage of Nollywood star Femi Adebayo has again been thrown into the spotlight as a fresh social-media clash erupted on Monday between his wife, Iyana Aladuke, and actress Olatoun Olanrewaju.
The two women traded heavy accusations online, with Aladuke alleging that Olatoun betrayed her and played a major role in the crisis rocking her home.
Taking to her Instagram page, Aladuke claimed that Olatoun whom she described as “like a sister” had allegedly contributed to the breakdown of her marriage. In a strongly worded post, she wrote:
“The betrayal cuts deep. How could you destroy something beautiful? You were celebrating us publicly and also planning to destroy the home, unknown to me. 10 days after this your post… the home scattered. Thanks to you. Even if I fall, you should be the one lifting me up. Even in my mistakes, you should be covering me up. You were like my sister. You are ev!l.”
Her post immediately stirred controversy online, prompting Olatoun to fire back in a lengthy response. She denied having any hand in the couple’s issues, insisting that Aladuke brought her problems upon herself.
“Hey, Iyanaladuke, I am not the reason for your downfall. You created every bit of the situation you’re facing. How do you mean I destroyed you? Please explain to the world, I’m right here (evidence full ground). If I’m found guilty of anything, I will take the blame, ENI BURU MO.”
Not stopping there, the actress later released another post accusing Aladuke of manipulation and claiming she had suffered various losses because of her.
“I have stomached all this nonsense from you for too long. If it will burst today, I am ready. You have taken my marriage, taken my business, taken my friends, you have come for my life in many ways that people would never understand. What else do you want from me?”
She then delivered the statement that has now dominated online conversations:
“You ended your marriage with your hands. You know the truth and how you ruined your marriage. Stop this reverse psychological act on social media. You need serious help… I dare you to show how I am to blame.”
The actress added that she was ready to expose everything Aladuke had allegedly done, saying:
“You have hurt me far too much. I’m no longer staying silent… I’m waiting for your response.”
Ironically, only hours before the dramatic exchange, Aladuke had fuelled speculation about reconciling with Femi Adebayo. She shared a throwback family video showing herself, the actor, and their daughter spending quality time together. She also posted another clip of herself and Femi lying in bed and playfully teasing each other.
This left many fans confused, as the couple’s recent actions suggested lingering tension. In June, Aladuke had hinted at a marital crisis when she indirectly threw shots at her husband, writing that if she had “a spell, magic, or power to make a man love her,” he would never have made that list. Soon after, fans noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Their separation came as a shock because earlier this year, Aladuke had celebrated Femi’s birthday in grand style, surprising him at home with a musical performance and a romantic dinner.

Last year, Aladuke publicly clashed with actress Dayo Amusa after Femi named Bobrisky “Best Dressed Female” at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere. Aladuke accused Dayo of trying to “bring her husband down,” prompting Dayo to call her “shallow-minded” and urge Femi to take responsibility for his choices.
Despite the turbulent moments, the actor and his wife celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary in 2023 with dancing, joy, and affectionate posts. Femi praised Aladuke at the time for being “the most amazing wife any man could desire.”
Now, with accusations flying and both women promising to spill more, fans are watching closely to see whether the couple will reconcile or whether this public drama marks a new chapter in their marital crisis.
