Nollywood actress Uche Montana has publicly responded to the allegations linking her to her colleague Regina Daniels’ ongoing marital controversy with Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress’s name was mentioned in Nwoko’s lengthy public statement, where he accused Regina’s close associates, including Uche Montana and Sonia of defying his attempts to rehabilitate his wife. According to Nwoko, the duo allegedly visited his home uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and would bring the same drugs Regina was supposedly being treated for.
But in a calm and direct response shared via her Instagram page, Uche Montana said she initially chose silence but decided it was important to clear the air and set the record straight.
“I wasn’t going to say anything, but I feel it’s important to clear the air,” she wrote. “My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”
The actress did not mention Ned Nwoko or Regina Daniels by name but emphasized her desire to stay out of controversy and preserve her peace of mind.
