Nigerian music superstar Davido Adeleke and his wife Chioma Adeleke are celebrating their third wedding anniversary, and the love between them seems stronger than ever.
Taking to his Instagram story, Davido reposted a message from one of their fan pages celebrating the milestone and captioned it with a heartwarming note to his wife.
“1 out of 3! Cheers to 4eva baby @thechefchi”, the singer wrote.
Chioma, in her signature calm and affectionate style, replied with a heartfelt response that melted fans’ hearts.
“Amen, amen, my love”, she wrote on her story.
The couple’s display of affection comes just days after Davido shared a handwritten love note to Chioma, reaffirming his eternal love for her. Reposting it on her Instagram story, Chioma called him her “sweet husband.”
Davido and Chioma’s love story has been one of strength, loyalty, and endurance.
The pair secretly tied the knot in November 2022, shortly after the tragic loss of their son. The private ceremony, held at Davido’s father’s home, was attended by a few close family members and friends, with no cameras allowed.
By January 2023, the Assurance crooner had reportedly paid Chioma’s bride price in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo State, solidifying their union.
Their love story continued to blossom, and in June 2024, the couple hosted what was widely dubbed the “Wedding of the Year.” The lavish Lagos traditional wedding was attended by top dignitaries, including Governor Ademola Adeleke, the Ooni of Ife, and billionaire businessmen such as Dangote and Obi Cubana.
Just months later, on August 10th, 2025, the couple held their white wedding in Miami, attended by A-list celebrities and business moguls from across the world.
During their wedding vows, he described Chioma as his calm in the storm and his healer.
“Chioma saw the real me and still chose me. God brought her into my life to show me unconditional love”, he said.
Chioma, in turn, called Davido her “love, best friend, and calm in the storm.” She vowed to walk with him forever and hold his hand through every season.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, Davido has openly credited Chioma for being a pillar of his personal and professional success.
He also praised Chioma for being a loving stepmother to his other children, recalling a touching moment between her and his daughter Hailey, which left him emotional.
Chioma, during her bridal shower, also debunked public misconceptions about Davido’s personality, saying, “Contrary to what people think, Davido cares about dreams. He’s always asking what I want to do.”
