Nollywood star Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux have marked a beautiful milestone as new parents: their son’s 40th day on earth.
The couple, who welcomed their first child, Prince Raheem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada on August 24, hosted family and friends in Tanzania for the Islamic 40-day rite and official naming ceremony.
Clips making rounds online captured the love-filled celebration, with Priscilla and Jux glowing as proud parents.
Just last week, Priscilla and her mother had returned to Tanzania with the newborn to a grand welcome from Juma.
In heartfelt moments shared online, the actress’s daughter flaunted her postpartum glow, writing that she was proud of her body. She also opened up about her labour room journey, revealing:
“We had to rush to the hospital at 3am. Contractions aren’t a joke. All my plans to slay at the hospital and create content were cancelled.”
Priscilla further credited her mum and Juma’s support system for helping her heal:
“My mum and aunty Lola are my lifesavers. They take care of almost everything, making sure I rest. I’m blessed to come from a lineage of strong women.”
The star couple, who had their lavish six-part wedding across Tanzania and Nigeria earlier this year, continue to keep fans intrigued.
Priscilla also revealed they had privately tied the knot in 2023 before their public ceremonies, silencing womb watchers and critics.
For now, it’s all joy as the Ojo–Jux household celebrates baby Raheem’s 40 days with love, tradition, and family.
