Nkechi Blessing Sets New Dating Standards
Actress and media personality Nkechi Blessing Sunday has revealed that she has never dated a man who is richer than her.
Speaking on her podcast Unfiltered with NBS, she said she had “dated down” three times and has now decided never to repeat that.
“I’ve never dated someone who has more money than I do. I’ve dated down three times, and I’m not doing that anymore,” she said.
“It’s not that I’m materialistic, but I now choose financial stability and peace of mind over struggle love.”
Nkechi, who recently confirmed her split from her younger boyfriend, Xxssive, said there was no bad blood and that she is enjoying single life.
Their relationship, which started in 2021, was once very public but quietly ended after they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The actress also made it clear that any man who wants to date her now must come prepared.
“Any man coming into my life now must come correct. He must meet my standards and must have more than I do.” she stressed.
She also opened up about her deep love for romance, saying her birth date plays a role in how she expresses love.
“The fact that I was born on February 14 also added to the fact that I love to love.” Nkechi said.
Despite criticism over her past relationships and preference for younger men, she says she remains unbothered by public opinion.
