Fans React To Asake's Alleged Waec Results

A viral post has set social media buzzing after Asake’s alleged 2020 WAEC result surfaced online, showing he reportedly failed nearly all subjects except Agricultural Science (A1) and Yoruba (A1).

While many are debating the authenticity of the result, fans wasted no time turning it into jokes. Twitter user @_oluwasogo_ said:
“With this kind of result, if Asake hadn’t become an artist, he would have been a very good farmer or herbalist.”

The alleged result listed subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Yoruba, and Music, a combination many users quickly flagged as unusual.

One fan, @reindolf_gh, joked that all Asake really needed was “excellence in Yoruba”, pointing out that his mastery of the language is now paying off in his music career.

Another user, @empresskorah, dismissed the conversation with a sarcastic quip: “Same way straight A’s is doing conductor, NEXT.”

Others raised doubts about the credibility of the result. @fat_boyent questioned how the singer could have gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo University if he sat for WAEC in 2020, while @kk_kngz wondered how Asake could have graduated before allegedly writing the exam, saying, “So una mean say e graduate uni before e write waec?”

In the same vein, @boi_kalyz pointed out the odd subject mix, asking how a single department could possibly offer Biology, Chemistry, Yoruba, and Music at once.

While the authenticity of the result remains unverified, fans have turned the conversation into pure comedy, with many pointing out inconsistencies and others jokingly crediting his supposed “Yoruba excellence” for his current success.
