Terry Apala Causes Online Stir: ‘Gyms Are Full of Seductive Women—My Partner Isn’t Going’

Nigerian singer Terry Apala has stirred up heated conversations after revealing why he would never allow his partner to visit a public gym.

In a recent interview with Echo Room hosted by reality star Teddy A, the Apala Disco hitmaker shared his controversial stance, claiming that many women use the gym as a stage for “vibes and seduction” rather than fitness.

“I will not allow my partner to go to the gym,” Terry declared. “I was a member of iFitness VGC, so I’ve been there. I saw what was going down. Ladies nowadays are just going to the gym to vibe and do videos. They’re not there to actually work out.”

He further explained that from his experience, some women deliberately seek attention, while some men also use the gym as hunting grounds.

“If they really want to work out, they won’t be focused on doing videos. They are just there to seduce men. I also once registered with a gym in Megamound Estate. I saw things there. Girls go there to do all manner of things. Maybe a few ladies are there to actually work out, but many of them just go for vibes”, he added.

His statement has since divided opinions online — with some people agreeing that gyms have become “content houses”, while others criticized his take as controlling and unfair to women.
