Davido ‘gifts’ Mohbad’s father N2m

Singer Davido has reportedly given the sum of N2 million to the father of the late singer Mohbad.

Music promoter OGB Recent revealed this on Wednesday through X (formerly known as Twitter), noting that Davido sent someone to give the money to the late 27-year-old’s father.

“Mohbad’s father just said Davido sent somebody to him with N2m. God bless Davido, 001 for a reason????????????????,” he wrote.

Mohbad was confirmed dead by his family through a statement on Tuesday.

He was nominated for Best Street Hip-Hop Artiste at the recently concluded 16th Headies Awards for his song ‘Peace’.

The ‘Feel Good’ singer had a son with his girlfriend Omowunmi.
