I don’t watch football but… – Wizkid spills

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, a Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, has revealed that he doesn’t watch football despite having a lot of footballers as friends.

The ‘Essence’ crooner said his footballer friends often get mad at him because he doesn’t contribute when they discuss football.

Wizkid, who disclosed this in a recent interview with Kiss FM, London, however, said he plays football.

The father of four said he plays as centre-forward.

He said, “I actually don’t watch football, to be honest. I have a lot of footballers as friends, they get mad at me when they are talking football, and I don’t know what they’re talking about.

“I don’t watch football but I play. I play centre-forward.”
