You’re a fraud – Mary Njoku calls out popular skincare product vendor
Mary Remmy-Njoku, a Nigerian actress and filmmaker, has slammed a popular skincare product vendor and others of a similar ‘deceptive’ nature.
In an Instagram post, Mary Njoku revealed that she had just walked past a popular cream seller who ‘glows’ online in photos and videos but looks different in real life.
Thespian urged skincare product sellers who use filters in their photos and videos to stop being deceptive in order to increase sales.
People in this category were described as “frauds” by Mary Njoku. She went on to say that if the sellers of such products are confident in their effectiveness, they should show their true faces.
She wrote:
“If you sell skin care products, and you use filters for your promo, videos and images,
You are a fraud.
I just walked past a ‘premium glow’ cream seller/user and…
Learn to be honest with your customers pls.
“If you are sure of the effects of the products on your skin, show your real face. Shout out those few genuine beauty products out there.”
Mary Njoku’s post sparked reactions from some of her colleagues like Etinosa Idemudia, Uche Ogbodo, BBNaija’s Tega Dominic and followers who seemed to relate to her post.
