Singer Waje cries out over alleged voters’ intimidation, recounts ordeal at polling unit
Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, known professionally as Waje, has taken to her social media page to lament over the voters’ intimidation across some part of the country, as he also recounted her ordeal in Polling Unit.
The Vibes singer who teared up while recounting her ordeal stated her disappointment in the electoral process and in INEC.
According to Waje, voters were prevented from making use of their phones and any eligible voter found trying to use their phones was flogged and sent away from the voting unit.
The mother of one also recounted how a friend of hers was assaulted by thugs who were anti-Igbos.
ER reports that some group of men alleged to be APC thugs have been captured on camera roaming the streets of Lagos to warn Nigerians who are voting for their oppositions to stay at home.
According to reports online, a group was captured on camera around Fadeyi area and another at Agbo-Ola street, Orile Oshodi, Ikeja, Lagos state.
“If you no go vote APC no come outside,” the group of louts could be heard saying in the clip.
