Why I became a polygamist – Yul Edochie

Actor Yul Edochie has stated that he took up polygamy in order to give his son with Judy Austin a legitimate identity.

When Yul revealed that Judy was his second wife and that they shared a son in April, he disturbed the tranquilly in his home.

Fans, celebrities, and his brothers distanced themselves from the actor and his second wife after he defended his marriage to Judy, which stoked the controversy.

Speaking about his second marriage in an Instagram post on Sunday, Yul revealed that he chose polygamy to give his son a proper identity.

The 40-year-old added that the bible acknowledges polygamy and marrying a second wife came with so many blessings to him, his first wife and his second wife.

He wrote: “l’m a very proud Polygamist. With my full chest.Read Exodus 21 vs 10. The bible acknowledges Polygamy. It is my destiny. God directed me to do it. So can give my son a proper identity.

Therefore it came with many blessings, blessings for me, blessings for my wife Queen May to calm her down cos as a human being she’ll definitely not be happy about it, and blessings for my wife Judy as well. I’m a very solid man of God.
