BBNaija’s Alex Unusual shoots down rumour of Rico Swavey’s death

Alex Asogwa, also known as Alex Unusual, a Big Brother Naija reality star, has dispelled rumours that fellow reality star Rico Swavey passed away.

As previously reported, Rico was injured in a horrific accident and taken to an undisclosed hospital, where he is currently fighting for his life.

Alex Unusual, a fellow reality star, tweeted the sad news on Tuesday and requested prayers.

“Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today. He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical. I’m staying positive,” Alex tweeted.
Moments after the tweet, some blogs reported that the star had died.

Reacting to the rumour on Twitter, Alex retweet the report, asking the blog to take down the tweet.

The 26-year-old said that although Rico is not stable, he is very much alive.

She wrote: “God forbid bad thing. Where exactly did you hear this your news from biko? I reject it. He is not stable yet but he is very much alive. Kindly take down this tweet. God bless you.”

Born Patrick Fakoya, Rico Swavey contested in the third edition of the reality show in 2018.

The 29-year-old is also a lawyer and an actor.
