Popular content creator and relationship advisor GehGeh, real name Prosper Ojaigho, is facing fresh family drama after his sister publicly claimed that none of their relatives were invited to his recent event because they lack money and are not “aesthetically pleasing.”
In a viral video circulating widely on Sunday, the sister lamented the exclusion of the entire family.
“They didn’t invite us, oh. We are not aesthetically pleasing,” she said.
She added that their mother gave birth to eight children, yet none appeared at the gathering.
“They didn’t invite anybody from our family, oh. My mother has eight children, oh. Did you see any of us there? Did you see me wear aṣọ ẹbi?”
Expressing deep disappointment, she declared that wealth now determines family respect.
“Now, I have finally realized that to be a member of your own family, you need to have money, oh. For them to show you respect, you need to have money. As we don’t have money, my fans, they didn’t carry us along. As we don’t have money, they didn’t invite us.”
The outburst follows the rapid spread of footage on July 25 showing GehGeh and a woman in what appears to be a wedding ceremony and first dance in Niger State. The clip left many of his followers, often called his “students,” in shock because of his long-standing public advice urging men to approach marriage with extreme caution and avoid financial risks in relationships.

Some online users have insisted the scenes are from an upcoming YouTube film Billionaire Prosper, in which he plays a character named Prosper alongside “Mrs. Prosper.” Others treat the event as a real secret traditional wedding. GehGeh has not issued a clear public confirmation or denial as of the latest reports.
This is not the first time the sister has called him out. In April 2026, she accused him of neglecting the family despite his success, claiming he abandoned them, refused meaningful support, and even had her removed from his housewarming ceremony.

The latest claims have reignited conversations about consistency between GehGeh’s online teachings and his private life, as well as the pressures of family expectations on successful Nigerians. Fans and critics remain divided, with some sympathizing with the sister’s pain and others questioning the timing and authenticity of both the footage and the complaint.
