Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod has once again taken to social media to highlight the poor state of roads in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State. In a fresh video shared on his Instagram page, the popular Yoruba star drew attention to the deteriorating conditions in Ido-Ani and surrounding communities, urging government officials to act.

Afod addressed Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa directly, along with the senator representing the area, the House of Representatives member for Ose Local Government, the local government chairman, and other executives overseeing the region.

“I want to call out Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the senators, members of the House of Representatives representing Ose Local Government, and the Chairman of Ose LG. I feel compelled to draw your attention to terrible states of healthcare, education, and roads in Ido-Anu and its surrounding areas. The people are deserting the place because everything is bad.”

The actor noted that this was not his first time raising the issue. He mentioned a previous appeal that appeared to go unheeded.

“I am using this medium to call on the Ondo State Governor again. The last time I spoke about the bad roads in some areas, you pretended not to hear.”

He stressed that residents of Ose Local Government deserve better infrastructure, describing the situation as one that demands urgent attention from those in power.

Afod latest intervention comes at a time when several Nigerian celebrities have increasingly voiced concerns about community development and governance.

Ose Local Government, located in Ondo State, has faced ongoing challenges with road networks that affect daily life, trade, and access to essential services. Afod’s public call serves as a reminder of the role public figures can play in pushing for accountability while maintaining respect. Supporters hope the new appeal will prompt concrete steps toward repairing the roads and improving living conditions in the area.
