Gbemisola, the partner and manager of hypeman MC Fish, has written a raw open letter to Nollywood actress Anita Joseph after the star posted a love note to a man she called her Odogwu. The new posts, shared from the couple’s joint Instagram, accuse Anita of still living off a shine built on Fish’s back while he keeps paying bills from the old marriage.
Anita’s caption was brief.
“To my Odogwu. To the one who makes me smile and shy. It’s so beautiful when they don’t understand it.”
Gbemi answered that tribute point for point.
“You have an Odogwu but it’s photoshoot from when you were under Fish you POST to show levels (common) with the wedding ring you updated by your normal means. You are using someone’s else fan base. Someone you don’t even like. You know what, there’s no point responding since no one would believe me. I AM DONE,” she wrote.
She said the pain is not gossip. It is money leaving their work.
“We just think it’s very unfair cause as his manager I know how hard we working, how much we are earning, and how much of our sweat goes into the loans from my husband past marriage acquired. So if you wondering why I am pain? This is why?”
She told critics to stop dragging Fish.
“Yall shouldn’t be insulting fish cause till tomorrow he is still paying debts he inquired while trying to satisfy your status.”
Gbemi said she had already stepped back once.
“As I said, my past post about ‘an old woman’ was for truth, love. I have left the fight for the lord and he has been doing a wonderful job so far.”
Then she drew the line.
“After all the PAIN you cost him please just leave him alone and enjoy your audio money in peace.”
The marriage itself ended last year. Anita confirmed the split in December 2025. Fish later went public with Gbemi.
