Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Cassi has thrown shade at still-standing contestant Oyin, saying she is not fully herself in the house and has been copying roles from past housemates.
Ezenwoke “Cassi” Nwosu made the remarks in an interview with TheCable Lifestyle published on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The Abia-born entrepreneur and actor was evicted last Sunday after pulling the lowest votes among the nominated housemates. He spent four weeks in the “Show Ya Sef” house.
Cassi said he walked into the game without a packed strategy and chose to stay himself. He argued that too many housemates let tactics swallow their real personality.
“It was just basically me going in to be who I was, I did not come in with any strategy per se. I saw a lot of that with other housemates, the whole strategy thing and sometimes it takes them out of their character,” he said.
He added that strategy only works when it matches who a person already is. Then he named Oyin.
“It is good when your own strategy is even relatable to your character. Someone like Oyin, I just thought she is not being herself a 100%, she had to play certain roles from past housemates and that was coming from a general consensus from the housemates. These are the things that I would say were distracting to showing who you are.”
Cassi did not list the former housemates he believes Oyin is imitating. He framed the comment as a view shared by others inside the house, not just his private reading.
Oyin, whose full name is Oyindamola Oshikoya, entered the house as a sales entrepreneur and model. On launch night she introduced herself as an entrepreneur with a strategy, a line that now sits beside Cassi’s claim that her game looks borrowed.
Season 11 opened on July 26 with 24 housemates. The winner stands to take home N160 million, the biggest prize in the show’s history since 2006. Cassi’s exit left the remaining housemates fighting for that purse while the authenticity debate he just opened is likely to follow Oyin on screen.
