Popular TikTok couple Peller and Jarvis have officially become husband and wife after exchanging vows at a court wedding in Ikoyi on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
The pair, known for their viral pranks, live streams, and open relationship content, completed the civil ceremony ahead of their white wedding scheduled for August 1, 2026. Photos and videos circulating online show the couple holding their marriage certificate, smiling as newlyweds under the legal names Mr and Mrs Hamzat.
Peller, whose real name is Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, did not hold back when addressing critics during a live session just before the court wedding. He fired back at those questioning his decisions and offering unsolicited advice about next of kin.
“Today is my court wedding, and if you’re pained, go and die. For all of you advising me, stop advising me; I won’t listen to you. I have fallen in love. Why will someone advise me to use my mom as my next of kin and not to use my wife?” he declared.
He continued, insisting that his wife and future children would come first.
“I will not listen to you! I have fallen in love so I will make my wife and kids my next of kin, not my mother. I don’t even have any property yet. Go and put your mummy as your next of kin. Don’t put your wife. Why would somebody be advising me for that kind of thing? So, you are telling me, I will leave this world before my own mummy leaves this world? My mummy is way older than me… So, who will be the next of kin? No! It’s my children!”
Peller also shut down speculation about wealth transfer.
“Somebody posts, ‘Okay, they are doing a court wedding today.’ What is coming to your mind is ‘Your property will be her own.’ You are evil! Which property? I don’t have any property yet! Because we’ve got a lot of property to get together!”
The couple’s journey has been closely followed by fans. In June 2026, Peller proposed to Jarvis, real name Amadou Elizabeth Aminata (also known as Jadrolita), during a romantic beach setup at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana. She accepted in tears of joy. A week later, he paid her bride price in her hometown of Benin City, marking the traditional introduction.
They have been together since 2024 and rose to become one of Nigeria’s most watched online couples through collaborative content. Ahead of the big day, Peller shared that he had been attending private traditional pre-marriage counselling in Ikorodu to prepare as a better husband.
