Nollywood actress Biola Fowosere has emotionally recounted the devastating pain of being abandoned by her ex-husband, revealing how the sudden betrayal left her hospitalized for depression and nearly drove her to the brink of madness.
In a heartfelt interview on African A-List, the Yoruba movie star broke down in tears as she opened up about the unexplained departure that shattered her family seven years ago.
“I’d really like to ask my husband what I did wrong because I did nothing before he left me and the kids. I want to ask what my children and I did to deserve what he did to us,” she said, her voice filled with raw emotion.
Biola disclosed that the trauma plunged her into severe depression, forcing her to spend one year and six months in the hospital.
“I spent one year and six months in the hospital battling depression after he left. I almost ran mad.”
She added that her ex-husband has maintained complete silence and blocked all communication since walking out on the family.
“We are not in contact. Since he left, we haven’t seen him. He blocked us seven years ago.”
