Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has fired a strong legal warning at fellow artiste Odumodublvck, threatening a N2.55 billion defamation suit over repeated social media posts that labelled him a “sexual abuser.”
The fierce rivalry between the two rappers, which has simmered for months through diss tracks and public jabs, escalated dramatically after Odumodublvck renewed allegations of sexual misconduct against Blaqbonez while accusing the music industry of shielding him.

In a pre-action letter dated July 7, 2026, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, acting for Blaqbonez (Emeka Akumefule), demanded N2.55 billion in damages, a public apology, and deletion of all offending posts. The letter accused Odumodublvck (Tochukwu Ojogwu) of a sustained campaign of defamation, harassment, and threats that has damaged their client’s reputation and emotional wellbeing.
“You have published, republished, and caused to be amplified across your social media platforms, statements of a threatening, defamatory and grossly abusive character, directed specifically at our Client,” the legal document stated.
The lawyers described the publications as false and malicious, claiming they exposed Blaqbonez to “public ridicule, hatred, contempt and opprobrium.” They are seeking general damages of N2 billion, aggravated damages of N500 million, and N50 million as costs, along with perpetual injunctions to stop further publications and a pinned public apology for at least 30 days.
Odumodublvck responded defiantly on X, standing by his claims:“
@BlaqBonez I STAND ON IT. THIS IS NOT DEFAMATION. YOU ARE A SEXUAL ABUSER. YOU DID IT.”
He challenged the threat, questioning why previous petitions allegedly failed if he was wrong.
“IF I WAS WRONG WHY HAVE YOUR 9 OTHER PETITIONS TO ME FAILED? YOU ARE GUILTY.”
The ongoing beef has roots in musical rivalry and earlier accusations involving Blaqbonez’s label, Chocolate City. Odumodublvck has also targeted label affiliates in past outbursts.
Both artistes command significant followings, and the dispute continues to divide fans and industry watchers alike.
