Controversial actress Etinosa Idemudia has stirred massive debate after declaring that marriage and having children should not be seen as life achievements, urging women especially to prioritise self-respect and personal growth over societal pressure.
In a recent interview that quickly went viral, the actress reflected on success, grace, and the lessons she would pass to a future daughter.
“Marriage is not an achievement, having children is not an achievement,” Etinosa stated firmly.
She stressed that true success involves more than hard work, adding:
“The difference between successful actors and not successful actors… I feel like it’s grace. Hard work is part of it, but I can never say hard work is all of it.”
Speaking directly about raising a daughter, she emphasised self-worth above all:
“If I don’t teach my daughter anything, I will teach her how to respect herself, how to value herself.”
